Original hard black rubber model of the Nazi Messerschmitt ME-109E used for training purposes during WWII and featuring the identification marking on the underside. Outstanding original example of this early (perhaps Civil War?) brass tunic button with old style eagle bearing the letter "C" (Cavalry?) within shield on its breast. Reverse side is maker-marked "SCOVILL MFG CO. WATERBURY". Button measures about 7/8" in diameter. I don't know much about this particular item...$30.
